Social entrepreneurship is in our DNA. AngelStarter is an equity crowdfunding platform for good, with disruptively low fees and game-changing simplicity. We aim to connect impact investors in the EU with social entrepreneurs in developing countries. In a traditional, intermediary-laden model, equity crowdfunding fees are just too high to be justifiable to investors. Besides, transparency is crucial for investing in developing economies, but today's platforms are far too opaque. By using the blockchain, we can make equity crowdfunding a viable capital-raising method for entrepreneurs in developing countries, creating solutions where governments and charities have failed.
