Angel Resource Institute at Willamette University Information

The Angel Resource Institute at Willamette University (ARI) is a charitable organization devoted to providing education and information on best practices in the field of angel investing. Our work is built on a foundation of extensive data collection, research, and analysis efforts that validate and support our programs. ARI believes that the relationship between startup companies and their investors should be collaborative, and as a result we are expanding our efforts to connect with the entrepreneurial community. We changed the organization's name to the Angel Resource Institute, a name we believe reflects our broader mission of improving the connections between angel investors and entrepreneurs, in August, 2011. ARI was formerly known at the Angel Capital Education Foundation. The programs of ARI include educational workshops and seminars, research projects and reports, and information about angel investing for the general public. Our programs are available to investors, entrepreneurs, policy makers, entrepreneurial support professionals, and many others interested in early-stage capital. We have partnered with the Startup America Partnership to increase the number of angel investors in the country through education and also connect angel investors and entrepreneurs in mentoring relationships. ARI was founded by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation and leaders of angel groups in the United States and Canada. ARI works in concert with the Angel Capital Association.
