Founded in 1997, Aneid Produtos Farmacêuticos Lda. (Aneid) is focused on marketing “niche” Class I medical devices and food supplements positioned as adjunct nutritional products. Aneid´s operating philosophy is the future of the pharmaceutical industry will be driven by: a) reduction in government drug reimbursement due to financial budgetary restraints. b) greater reliance on generic pharmaceuticals; and c) greater reliance on the use of genetic screening devices to determine “proclivities” or probability of future disease, leading to a reliance on dietary recommendations by doctors as opposed to prescriptions for synthetics pharmaceuticals. (First European distributor for Kinesio). 2000-2020 Launched Corpet (Coriolus versicolor biomass) for veterinary use in Portugal and Spain-licensed from Mycology Research Laboratories Ltd. Launched Coriolus-MRL (Coriolus versicolor biomass) for chronic fatigue syndrome- licensed from Mycology Research Laboratories Ltd.
