ANEC Information

ANEC is the European consumer voice in standardisation. It promotes, represents and defends the collective consumer interest in the processes of technical standardisation, conformity assessment, accreditation, market surveillance & enforcement, as well as in European legislation and public policies related to standards or the use of standards. Its membership is open to the national representatives of consumer organisations in 34 countries. Recognised under Regulation (EU) 1025/2012 on European standardisation, ANEC is funded by the European Union and the European Free Trade Association, while the work of its network of voluntary experts is considered a contribution in kind.
