Since the formation of Andor Technology in 1989 we have grown to become the global leader in pioneering and manufacturing high performance light measuring solutions. Our products enable routine measurements of light down to a single photon and capture events occurring within one billionth of a second. Our company has grown organically and through acquisitions year on year since it was established in 1989 as a spin-out of the Physics Department at Queen’s University Belfast, Northern Ireland. In 2004 Andor Technology plc floated on the London’s Stock Exchange (listed as AND:LSE) and now counts over 400 employees in 16 offices across the Americas, Europe and Asia. Over 80 core products and hundreds of accessories are offered to over 10,000 scientific research and OEM customers through a direct sales engineers and network of regional distributors.
