Founded in 2003 by Wayne Cramer and his wife Susan, Andean Aid is a non-profit 501(c)(3) Christian organization that provides educational, physical, emotional, social and spiritual development assistance to at-risk children in the Andes mountain regions of Venezuela and Colombia through Help and Hope Centers established in collaboration with the local church. Founded and operating upon Biblical principals, Andean Aid assists children living largely in poverty in realizing their full potential, and in turn, positively impacting their families, their communities, their country and the world. In partnership with an NGO based in Cucuta, Colombia and a Civil Association headquartered in Rubio, Venezuela, Andean Aid focuses its efforts on children who, without assistance, are at risk of falling behind their peers and becoming vulnerable to the multitude of potentially harmful influences that confront them each day.
