ANDA is a leading independent registered investment advisory firm with the Financial Services Commission ("FSC") of Korea as well as in the United States with the Securities Exchange Commission ('SEC"). ANDA has a number of meanings, including "I know" in Korean, "man's defender" in Greek and "bold journey" in Old German but the origin of the ANDA we are named after is from Mongolia and means "ally" or "soul brother". ANDA was founded by Kevin (Kwon-UK) Choi with a vision to be known by our clients as the best investment management firm. Prior to establishing ANDA, Kevin was the founder and former CEO of Cosmo Investment Management. Starting with USD 50 million in seed capital in 1999, Kevin grew the company into one of Korea's largest independent advisory firms with AUM in excess of USD 3 billion until his departure in 2010. Our focus is exclusively on the Korean equity market with the entire ANDA organization aligned behind a clear goal: deliver superior long-term investment results and unparalleled service to our clients around the world.
