Conducting polymers can be used as corrosion inhibitors was stated on 2000 Nobel Chemistry Award publication along with other brilliant applications. Since discovery of conducting polymer anti-corrosion effect in 1981, it had been uttered as an exciting environmentally friendly alternative to carcinogenic chromium pigments.
