Analytics for a Better World Information

Analytics for a Better World is an applied research institute founded by the University of Amsterdam and ORTEC. We help mission-driven organisations make better decisions through analytics and artificial intelligence, working with NGOs, international organisations and governments across health, climate, humanitarian action and other social domains. By combining world-class research with real-world implementation, we develop practical solutions that have helped partners dramatically expand their social impact. Our ecosystem spans 20+ mission-driven organisations, 12 industry partners and 14 academic institutions, including WHO, WFP, the World Bank, MSF, The Red Cross, Amref, ORTEC, DHL, TomTom, Gurobi, OMP, the University of Amsterdam, Imperial College London and MIT.
