Analogia Project Information

The studio approach is experimental and based on exploring the everydayness and turning it into wonderment. Everyday spaces and objects represent ourselves, our past and memory, they embody our history and culture. From the first wool installation, where real size 3d sketches were used to create spaces and interiors, Analogia Project investigates the relations of design, architecture, archaeology, technology and craftsmanship. Starting from entities that are normally taken for granted, everyday space and objects are used as a source of inspiration, wonder and surprise. From 2017 Andrea Mancuso is leading Analogia Project, bringing forward with his team the narrative approach to design that characterise the studio. His work includes projects realised, among others, for Nilufar Gallery, Perrier-Jouët, Hermès, Slamp, Lema, Frag, JCP and F.lli Boffi presented worldwide. Emilia Serra, graduated from Royal College of Art with a research MPhil, has expanded her practice research on experimental projects with Analogia Research from 2018. Her activities include academic and advising collaborations on cultural projects with companies and public institutions, Italian and international. Since 2011 Analogia's work has been published internationally and exhibited in the major design fairs. Collaboration includes client such as Bulgari, Camp Design Gallery, Design Days Dubai, Driade, Etro, Fendi, Hermès, Le Bon Marché, Luisa Delle Piane Gallery, Triennale Design Museum, V&A Museum and many others. @Analogia Project 2019
