The firm will continue to provide information technology support, including lifecycle software development, network and infrastructure services, and cybersecurity services to the government and business development support to small businesses. “Our new name reflects the true personality and focus of our company,“ said Mitzi Mead, CEO of Anakim Consulting. “The name Anakim is taken from a biblical race of giants and reflects our giant heart as a small business. Physically, the Anakim were described as a people by whom all others were judged. This starts with listening to our client’s needs and responding rapidly to exceed their expectations.” Mead co-founded the firm in 2007 to provide much needed outsourced business development support to small business in the Federal marketplace. The proud daughter of a decorated Marine Corps aviator, Mead moved around a lot growing up.
