Amrita Center for Research in Accessible Technologies & Education (CREATE)is aneducational technologyinitiative pioneered by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.Social and educational systems must be designed so that it nurtures creativity and values along withknowledge acquisition. Research atAmritaCREATEfocuses on the design, development, and deployment oftools that can lead to phased transformation through educational technologies. Ourinterdisciplinaryteam endeavors to createdigital solutionsthat are affordable, accessible, and equitable. Empowerment and transformation throughtechnology-aided educationare at the heartofAmrita CREATE. To achieve these goals, we develop software, use e-learning tools, and employ datasciences. The center strives to advance research on innovative pedagogy and architectural frameworks byimplementinge-Learningandm-Learningsystems emphasizing personalized assessment and learning. Our center’s efforts are aligned with the university’s mission of compassion-driven research for societalimpact focusing on multiple UN SDGs.
