At Skills Academy, We believe that everyone should be able to study further, regardless of their background or their education level. School has never been a “one size fits all” solution. As a result, many South Africans have been unable to gain access to tertiary education. We want to do everything in our power to change that reality, and give as many people as we can the education they truly deserve!

Career Wise is an independent, owner-managed organisation based in Johannesburg since 1999, with a national footprint. We manage bursary, scholarship, internship and work-readiness programmes for corporates, trusts and foundations. With 80% Black shareholding, we hold a Level 2 B-BBEE rating as a Qualifying Small Enterprise. We currently administer programmes for more than 2,000 students across multiple clients. Students on our programmes consistently achieve year-on-year progression rates above 75%, with overall throughput rates in excess of 80%. We manage the full lifecycle of a funded student programme: recruitment and selection, contracting, financial administration, academic monitoring, one-on-one mentoring, vacation work placement and graduate transition. Our clients are typically HR and CSI teams whose talent development allocations and B-BBEE commitments, including Skills Development and Socio-Economic Development spend, require structured programme management, accurate reporting and demonstrable graduate outcomes.
