• Ami Engineers started in the year 1964, with a goal to create structural system merged with Architectural spaces to create balance with forces of life. One man organisation was started at village Karamsad, a home of respected Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the first Home Minister of Independent India. • Mr R. J Shah, Principal Consultant holds a post graduate qualification in discipline of structures (M.E Structures). He is retired faculty member of School of Architecture at CEPT University. He is technical adviser and adjunct professor at National Forensic Science University (NFSU). Since inception of the Architecture course leading to Bachelor of Architecture, his learning- teaching attitude and vast experience of working with stalwarts of the profession on challenging projects led him to bring the firm with an edge ahead. • Mr. Mehul Shah, Senior Structural Engineer has been involved to lead structural engineering discipline at Ami Engineers since year 1996. He holds post graduate qualification in discipline of Computer Aided Structural Analysis (M.E.CASAD). He is visiting faculty member at CEPT University and National Forensic Science University (NFSU). • We believe that, “Structures are not in isolation” and hence, our focus is to develop efficient but simple structural systems merged with expression of built-form. Our projects are reflected with our belief in “simplicity” and our projects are crafted in such a way so that it fits in “nature”. • We work in the area of Structural Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Repairs & Rehabilitation of Distressed Structures and Heritage Structural Conservation. Our firm is involved in the projects for the Structural design of residential, commercial, recreational, heritage, educational, industrial and other facilities alongwith design of water retaining structures.
