Amex Nooter, LLC. has the following ASME stamps: "S" & "R". That designates us to work on Power Boilers, Pressure Piping and Repair and Alter Boilers and Vessels. This rating provides us to provide quality work at any size company. Who we are and what we do: AMEX NOOTER, LLC, established in 1979, is now a subsidiary of the NOOTER CONSTRUCTION family. Amex is a Prime Mechanical Industrial Contractor and we erect Power & Process Piping Systems. We do Pipe Fabrication – Equipment Setting and Alignment along with Instrumentation, Boiler and Millwright work. We also handle ongoing Maintenance and all of our work would be performed in Northern INDIANA & Northern ILLINOIS because of our Union affiliations. Our 20,000 square foot FAB SHOP is located at our Hammond facility. We have approximately 240 to 500 craftsmen in the field. Our largest project to date was $75 Million. However, we like projects of all sizes. 50% of all of our work is in the Petrochemical Industry. The industries we serve besides Petrochemical are Steel, Aiir and Gas and Power.Our Safety Standards are extremely high. Current EMR is 0.42.
