Amethyst Chambers Information

Amethyst Chambers is a new common law set with a modern approach to providing legal services. Chambers consists of members who are specialists in a number of areas primarily Family, Immigration, Housing and Criminal law. Our aim is to ensure that first class representation is given to all members of the community on each and every occasion. Recognising that every case is unique and of utmost importance to the client, extreme care, professionalism and expertise are the qualities that our members bring to the table. Recent changes to the law and the legal profession has resulted in the Bar Council granting, on the completion of necessary training, permission to qualified barristers to do Direct Access work; that is being able to work directly with the public, as opposed to working through a solicitor. Most members of Chambers are qualified to undertake Direct Access work. Amethyst Chambers also offers Mediation services.
