Americas Technologies Solutions (ATS) is a Brazilian based corporation specializing in RFID solutions for specific harsh environment markets. The company does business internationally with a heavy concentration in Brazil. The gas vessel solution, referred to as the propane tank business in the US and Europe is our primary target. Other major projects at ATS include the creation of a fully implemented RFID asset management system for commercial tires for Bridgestone and Bandag. Included in that project is the world’s first drive over RFID reader system for trucks, making it possible for fleet owners to ID the tires of an 18 wheel truck and trailer combination by slowly driving through a portal. Other tire manufacturers are talking with ATS to partner in providing RFID tire management for their commercial tires. Fleet owners and truck industry system integrators such as Guberman Informática are setting up facilities to sell and manage truck fleet RFID operations. ATS has partnered with Translogik in the UK to provide a complete commercial tire management program that includes tread depth measurement and analysis, tire temperature, RFID and tire pressure. This composite management tool will be used by fleet operators throughout the world.
