American University of Sharjah Model United Nations (AUSMUN) Information

Held at the Islamic Capital of the UAE, AUSMUN is one of the largest conferences across the United Arab Emirates. Our conference is largely diverse, with more than 850 multi-ethnic participants every year. Throughout the three-day event, AUSMUN strives to provide students with an enriching experience filled with debates, public speaking, and teamwork. It is our responsibility to make sure our participating members are able to explore different topics to increase their knowledge of worldwide issues and affairs. Our motto, “Sapere Aude” aims to inspire students to think for themselves, as well as encourage them to be passionate about learning. Our conference also aims to provide our participants with networking opportunities on the second and third days of the conference through the social night and gala dinner.
