Headquartered in McKinney, Texas we provide services and investment opportunities in the Dallas/Fort Worth market. Founded in 1988, American Equity has over 30 years of experience in the multifamily industry. This rich history provides a firm foundation upon which our company and portfolio are built. Participating in and observing the industry over the years has allowed us to develop a keen eye for identifying value-add acquisition opportunities of class B and C assets, along with identifying sites for current and future development of class A assets. As a full-service property management provider, we have refined our management process to optimize NOI. Occupancy, rents, other income, and expenses are analyzed line by line as we look for ways to maximize NOI while providing a positive experience for residents. We are consistently looking for new technologies and innovative ways to increase NOI and improve resident satisfaction. We have managed capital projects of all shapes and sizes from demolition and rebuild to simple property “face-lifts.” We are agile and can adapt to an individual owners’ strategy whether the deal is a value-add rehab with a 5 to 10-year hold or preparing a property for sale within 12 to 24 months. We value honesty and transparency which we demonstrate by providing a detailed financial report every month for each property we manage.
