American Edge Grain (AEG) is a specialized grain based management company with many years of agricultural experience in the field of curing, storing and marketing high quality grains. AEG was founded to become the infrastructure in what's missing today between seed technology companies and the end users that need specific traits that are or will be introduced through new hybrids and varieties. With no capital investment AEG can provide producers shorter unload times, less combine down time, lower labor costs, less dryer maintenance costs, longer harvest periods and pride of crop delivered. With the use of an AEG Bin City® quality of grain is far superior to traditional elevator systems. In addition, with our curing process premiums are available to the producer from end users because of the value in retaining all inherent characteristics as well as the ability to extract them from the kernel. The design of individual bins allows AEG to identity preserve crops by field or genetics if required by end users including trace-ability from field to fork for food and feed safety. Grain drying and handling systems as a whole throughout the US are becoming older and obsolete. Those that are being replaced add high capacity fossil fuel dryers and larger more aggressive handling systems. The need to dry faster as more bushels become available will continue to affect the quality of all grains dried with these methods as well as drive up the cost. These larger systems will not allow for any product identity in the future as more trait specific grains are developed and grown in the US resulting from world demand. In conclusion, AEG has a tried and proven system that has been in place and used by US farmers for nearly 30 years. AEG Preservation & Curing Systems have been developed over those years to work with almost every grain crop and in every environment throughout the US and Canada. As a producer if you are frustrated with waiting in line at the local elevator and gambling with the late weather patterns during harvest season; start 7 to 10 days early and run until you're done with AEG.
