American Day School was founded in 2007 with the intent of creating a place where children can obtain an outstanding quality of care and education. In 2009 American Day School expanded to include an infant program located on North Henry Street. ADS 3 opened its doors in 2012 on Oronoco Street serving children 16 months to 5 years old. Open year round American Day School is the perfect place to meet the child care needs of any family. Located in the heart of Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, American Day School is conveniently located within walking distance of Braddock Road Metro Station and directly off Route 1 by car. We believe that each child is a unique individual. At American Day School it is our mission to provide a warm, nurturing environment for all children to grow intellectually, physically, socially and emotionally. American Day School serves infants 8 weeks old to age 5. Knowing that each child is unique and has different learning styles American Day School's curriculum is theme based and incorporates both structured and non-structured activities to keep the children not only engaged in the leaning environment but enjoying education.
