Leaders in Sealing Solutions Since 1887
The year was 1886 when Olin J. Garlock devised a better way to seal piston rods in industrial steam engines. First established in 1887 in Port Gibson, New York, the Garlock Packing Company relocated to Palmyra, NY, in 1889. By the early 1900s, Mr. Garlock’s company began establishing facilities at Garlock's current world headquarters.
