Ambienthesis S.p.A. is a company specializing in reclamation, environmental remediation and treatment, recovery and disposal of special, hazardous and non-hazardous waste.   In particular, the company owns and operates the plant located in Orbassano (TO), the largest platform in Italy for the treatment of special, hazardous and non-hazardous waste (authorization capacity over 500,000t / year). The company also manages two other owned plants: the first, located in Liscate (MI), is destined for the purification of civil and industrial waters, and provides a special disposal service for various types of industrial liquid waste; the second, located in San Giuliano Milanese (MI), is intended for the storage of hazardous and non-hazardous special waste for a total of 950 m3. For over 20 years Ambienthesis has been carrying out remediation of contaminated sites. With over 500 areas restored, including Sites of National Interest, it is among the leading companies in Italy. The activity extends from the reclamation of contaminated sites and polluted areas from illegal waste deposits, to the safety of old landfills, through the rehabilitation of groundwater, to the decommissioning and enhancement of abandoned industrial areas. It offers a complete service able to identify the best technologies available today and to face all the management phases of a contaminated site. It has modular mobile facilities, authorized for physical-chemical treatment and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous special waste, as well as for the purification of polluted water. These systems, allowing to carry out "on site" rehabilitation interventions, make it possible to significantly contain the overall environmental impact and reduce "off site" disposal. The execution of reclamations is preceded by the activity of environmental auditing conducted by a qualified technical staff that also operates through its own laboratories.
