AMAZON 5000 - for the Cure Information

A year long expedition that begun in 2012 and ended in 2013 saw me and my team cross the South American continent and through the mystical Amazon on a 5000 mile trek of treacherous terrain, vicious elements, mankind brutality, but also kindness. Together with my Amazon 5000 team we crossed mountains, desert, rivers, jungles, swamps, and savannas. We battled harsh nature yet we were successful in making THE IMPOSSIBLE-POSSIBLE. Going through the countries of Ecuador, Peru, Colombia and Brazil, I have traversed the extreme, journeying from the Pacific to the Atlantic side of the continent. I have completed a total of 4859 miles on foot, mules, and on raft for the benefit of cancer awareness and the human spirit. , Amazon 5000 is dedicated to all those fighting their own battles with cancer.
