AMaT Information

AMaT is used by NHS organisations across the UK to manage clinical audits, ward audits, national audits, quality improvement projects, NICE compliance, inspection outcomes, and mortality and morbidity reviews. AMaT aims to ensure data within Trusts is both standardised and available to all users, providing transparency across organisations, thereby allowing the kind of reporting which leads to improvement. With an array of insight dashboards, report types, and integration with BI systems through a suite of APIs, AMaT is a whole organisation solution which can demonstrably pay for itself through time-saving and increased efficiencies. AMaT costs £23,000 per annum, with no limit on the number of users within an organisation, or the number of audits and projects. All training and implementation costs are included in the first year’s licence. When reviewing their successful implementation of AMaT, Angela Ward, Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust’s Clinical Audit and NICE Manager, said "Our main issues were that audits were dealt with in isolation. There was no joined up thinking and NICE activity was disjointed - as was the monitoring of actions." Not only did using AMaT resolve these issues, but the review also found that the £23,000 licence resulted in savings of over £30,000. Quarterly updates to functionality are proposed and agreed upon by our Super User Group, on which all licensed Trusts have a seat. The company behind AMaT is ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus certified, and the platform is hosted on Microsoft Azure servers for reliability and protected by CloudFlare.
