We're on a mission to get the UK drinking better coffee by making freshly roasted coffee accessible to everyone. Our world-class beans are bought directly from farmers to cut out middlemen and ensure a truly fair price is paid. We then hand-roast them in Surrey and ship them just days later to you.
Ritual Coffee Roasters opened in May 2005 with the intention to share amazing coffee with San Francisco and it was only a matter of weeks, or maybe just one, before Ritual had a line out the door. Many of our customers asked what we were doing to our coffee to make it taste so good, while the connoisseurs simply wanted to know what took us so long to get here.
Since then, we've devoted ourselves to sourcing the best coffee in the world by creating unique partnerships with groups and individuals throughout Central and South America. Our focus on sourcing allows us to offer seasonally fresh coffees throughout the year.
We roast coffee daily and ship directly to wholesale customers, our own coffee shops, subscribers and webshop customers. And yet, freshly roasted coffee is just a small part of the equation.
We source coffee directly from the farmer for two main reasons. To guarantee we get the best green beans, and to make sure the farmer is rewarded for the high quality coffee. It is actually quite simple. For the farmer to continue to produce specialty coffee, he or she should be paid extra for the hard work.
In our opinion, enduring quality in coffee starts with financial stability for the farmers. To make a difference, we believe that we have to start with ourselves by making coffee experiences that contributes to this development.
Founded in 2007, Coffee Collective is to this day 100% owned and run by Peter N. Dupont, Casper Engel Rasmussen and Klaus Thomsen. With several competition awards in the bag, including gold in both the World Barista Championship and World Cup Tasting championships, we continue to explore exciting coffee experiences.
