A Canadian Publisher Making Reading Fun for Kids Amabel Books was born from a simple mission: to make learning to read less stressful and more enjoyable. When my daughters struggled with traditional methods, I saw firsthand how anxiety and frustration could take the joy out of reading. Experts say daily reading is key to development—but what if it’s the source of tears? That’s why our books use a unique format, alternating simple and complex text, helping new and struggling readers build confidence without pressure. What started as homemade stories for my kids soon found their way into classrooms. Since 2014, Amabel Books has published four titles, with more to come. Let’s make reading fun again. Read. Learn.
