ALTRAFO Srl starts its activity since 2003 and it specializes in producing electrical transformers for electric energy use in medium voltage. Thanks to multi-ten-yearly experience in the electric plant engineering for HV cabins or LV panels, in repairing motors and electric transformers, its founders undertake since 2003 the ambitious project to manufacture and market cast resin transformers for medium voltage. We designs all the transformer components: magnetic core, insulation system and active parts. It supplies with modern automatic and semi-automatic machines such as windings, resin englobing and impregnation plant, furnaces, climatic cells, with a furnished test room complete with all the instruments necessary to perform tests according to IEC 60076-11 and thanks to very high skill of its internal resources we can design and manufacture also Trs for appplcations that range from energy distribution to photovoltaic and wind generation, from furnaces to LV isolation transformers and to machines for traction. Factory activities obey to certified quality system ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, while product obtained climatic and environmental certifications for C2, E2, F1 classes issued by an external laboratory recognized SINAL. Its plant is situated in Matera industrial area and is extended on a surface of 4000 mq, whole 2000 mq dedicated to production, 400 mq to offices and the remaining areas to warehouse and logistics.
