Althoff Industries was founded in 1961 by James Althoff to service residential heating and air-conditioning customers in the growing Northwest Chicago suburbs. These communities also had a growing need for skilled tradesmen to provide plumbing, piping and electrical services, and we soon expanded our offerings to meet them. As our reputation for the highest quality service grew, small businesses and light commercial clients joined our customer base. Over time, our dedication to total customer satisfaction has continued to fuel our growth, leading us to form long term relationships with some of the largest institutions and manufacturing companies in the area. In the 1990’s, we added our Building Automation Group to design and install computerized HVAC control systems. By remaining current with innovative technologies, we continue to provide outstanding value to our customers.
