ALTHEV OILFIELD SERVICES LIMITED is a Trinidad and Tobago originated company with operations in Suriname, South America. ALTHEV was the first drilling contractor hired by Staatsolie and has managed numerous drilling campaigns in Suriname in both Exploration and Production. ALTHEV has introduced drilling efficiencies in Suriname that has reduced the delivery of one well from over a month to an average of 7 days. ALTHEV was proud to be a partner with Staatsolie during 2001-2014 helping increase total daily production by over 50%. ALTHEV has developed two hoverbarges Toucan 1 and Toucan II. These barges have travelled over land, sea and swamp and have helped deliver exploration and production wells. No small feat ALTHEV has conceptualized, engineered and delivered the hoverbarge projects in Suriname using a virtual project team on three continents and coordinated out of Trinidad and Tobago.
