The mission of Alterna Savings Crackup is to help bring laughter and fun to Canada's Capital Region (Ottawa, Ontario) while raising awareness and funds to support local mental health organizations through hilarious performances by Canadian comics from international, national, and local stages. Formerly known as, Cracking-up the Capital, Alterna Savings Crackup has been a comedy festival since 2012 and an event since 2004. Alterna Savings Crackup is a registered Canadian not-for-profit run by volunteers.
