U.S. Ski & Snowboard is an Olympic sports organization providing leadership and direction for tens of thousands of young skiers and snowboarders, encouraging and supporting them in achieving excellence. By empowering national teams, clubs, coaches, parents, officials, volunteers and fans, U.S. Ski & Snowboard is committed to the progression of its sports, athlete success and the value of team. Established in 1905, U.S. Ski & Snowboard receives no direct government support, operating solely through private donations from individuals, corporations and foundations to fund athletic programs to assist athletes in reaching their dreams. The U.S. Ski & Snowboard Foundation is the nonprofit, fundraising arm of the organization, raising money to support the year-round athletic training, development, competition and educational needs of world-class athletes. It is the organization of and the simple pursuit of U.S. Ski & Snowboard’s sports that drives excellence, world-class events and Best in the World performances. From the slopes of a local mountain to the Olympic podium, U.S. Ski & Snowboard supports the development of great individuals and enables all to develop and pursue their passion.

As the leading authority of on-mountain safety, The National Ski Patrol (NSP) is dedicated to serving the public and outdoor recreation industry by providing education and accreditation to emergency care and safety service providers. NSP is made up of more than 32,000 members serving over 650 patrols, including alpine, nordic, and auxiliary patrollers. Our members work on behalf of local ski and snowboard areas to improve the overall experience for outdoor enthusiasts. National Ski Patrol (NSP) was established in 1938 and is a member-driven professional organization. We strive to provide best-in-class training and education programs for emergency rescuers serving the outdoor recreation community. NSP supports its members through accredited education and training in leadership, outdoor emergency care, safety programs and transportation services. The emergence of new snow sports like snowboarding, tubing, and snow-skating has introduced new equipment and terrain requiring new safety and rescue techniques and emergency care methods to be developed and taught. In addition, greater access to the backcountry has brought new training and regimens for NSP members as well.

About SSCV Ski & Snowboard Club Vail is a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization. Founded in 1962 to provide training and competition programs for aspiring young ski racers, SSCV is one of the Vail Valley's oldest non-profits. Today, the organization remains true to our roots by instilling the values of character, courage and commitment in more than 650 kids who participate in our on-snow winter sports programs each year.
