In 1983 Alphachem established as an agent for 23 international companies producing Pharmaceuticals and Chemicals. In 1984 Alphachem Scientific office established to be in charge of studying the Egyptian market of pharmaceuticals in order to provide it with the needed pharmaceutical products at the best prices. In addition, Alphachem Scientific office assists its producers and suppliers by making surveys and giving statistical reports showing how to compete with other competitors in the market. In 1994 Alphachem was involved in establishing AlphaChem Advanced Pharmaceutical Industries (ACAPI) an industrial entity supported with a GMP manufacturing Facility to produce Pharmaceutical products, which Alphachem used to import previously. In 2011 AMOUN Holding bought 75% from ACAPI Starting form 2011, Alphachem changed its business strategies and develop new plans to adapt with new variables of the market.
