Physiotherapy Alberta - College + Association regulates Alberta's physiotherapy profession and acts as an association by providing member services. Physiotherapy Alberta's main purpose is to protect the public by ensuring the delivery of quality physiotherapy care. College = our regulatory role Physiotherapy in Alberta is a self-regulated profession. The College, established in legislation, is the organization responsible for regulating physiotherapist's practice. Our mandate, first and foremost, is to protect the public interest.
