The Borderless Higher Education for Refugees (BHER) Project is a consortium of Canadian and Kenyan universities and NGOs that aims to make educational programs available where refugees need them. Millions are displaced as a result of war, persecution, violence, instability, drought and environmental disasters in a world that is increasingly hostile towards refugees and asylum-seekers. Many are caught in displacement, often for ten years or more. Attending university or accessing other tertiary degree programs is nearly impossible with only 3% of refugees in the world able to access higher education (UNHCR 2019). Young women face additional barriers to pursuing an education. Our aim is to provide accredited university programs to working, untrained refugee and local teachers in situ. By building the capacity of refugee and local teachers, they themselves are able to increase and improve education in the camps and local community. The BHER Project believes that the provision of quality higher education to refugees and locals will contribute to the conditions for justice, sustainability, and peace in Kenya, Somalia, and the surrounding region.

Students Solution established in 2003 and since then have counselled over more than 10,000 students. Students' Solution was established in 2003 in Newcastle (UK) (Company No. 04964473) under England & Wales companies act. We were first study abroad consultants in Pakistan who registered as company in UK. Students' Solution started its operations in Canada from 2006 and changed its name from Students Solution to Students Solution Educational Services Ltd, as we decided to offer other services related to education industry as well. SSES is UCAS-UK registered centre in Canada, member of International Educators Association of Canada (IEAC) and Quality International Student Abroad Network (QISAN – UK). Yasir Majid (President & Founder), a British Council Trained Agent, An ICEF Trained Counsellor (IATC) & Canada Course for Education Agents (CCEA) graduate, is also a UK graduate with experience living and working in the UK. Currently settled in beautiful city of Canada, Toronto.He has more than 20 years of experience in education industry counselled more than 10,000 students from different nationalities to apply in UK in various programs such as Medicine, Law, Pharmacy, PhD, credit transfer, etc. He has attended number of British Council training and participated in numbers of UK university Representative conferences/training.
