Alpha Grip began life at Pinewood Studios and has recently relocated to a new 5000 sq ft facility at Shepperton Studios. Whilst still maintaining a presence at Pinewood, we are proud to be based within the heart of the British film and television industry. Alpha Grip operates all over the UK and Europe working recently in Ireland, Finland and as far a field as Hong Kong and South America. Alpha Grip service and support all genres of production. From million pound feature films, live entertainment, TV drama, pop promos & commercials. Alpha Grip also supply: • Telescopic and modular cranes (up to 52ft) including track. • Multi axis remote heads, including 3D capability. • Alpha and Scorpio Stabilised Heads • All terrain tracking vehicles • Scorpio Stabilised Remote Arm • And of course the usual array of Chapman & Fisher Dollies, tripods and heads. We stock an impressive range of telescopic and modular camera cranes. From the Super TechnoCrane, MovieBird, Grip Factory Munich and the very latest Technodolly which has repeatable and precise camera movements. We also have our very own Alpha Jib, a light weight, durable and easy to set up in 1m sections giving a maximum reach of 3m (14ft). Alpha Grip can also boast the very latest in stabilised technology using the Alpha Stabilised Head from Geo Films and the new Scorpio Head from Service Vision. We also offer the SL Pod, Pee-pods, Track Pod, 2&3 Axis Scorpio Remote Heads and the Mega Remote Head 3.
