Over his 13 year sporting career, Mario won seven World Championship medals and Olympic Gold in Barcelona 1992 (K4 1000 metre). He migrated to Australia in 1996 and worked for Infinity Technology in Queensland, then managed their operations in Perth before moving to Sydney in 2000.
