ALPFA (Association of Latino Professionals For America) was the first national Latino professional association in the United States, established in Los Angeles in 1972. With more than 13,000 student and professional members, SHPE’s mission is to change lives by empowering the Hispanic community to drive social and economic growth by excelling in STEM.
