Hochland Deutschland GmbH
Hochland Deutschland GmbH is once again among the winners of the Great Place to Work competition "Germany's Best Employers". Hochland was honored at a gala in Berlin in mid-March as one of the 100 best employers. The awards went to companies that offer their employees a particularly trustworthy and attractive workplace culture. This was determined by a detailed representative survey of employees at the sites Heimenkirch and Schongau concerning topics such as confidence in the management, recognition, professional development opportunities, team spirit and health promotion. 86 percent of the respondents agreed with the statement : "All in all, I can say this is a great place to work. In a "culture audit" the experts of the Great Place to Work Institute also have rated the quality of measures by the management and especially by the Human Resources Department at Hochland. "The award acknowledges an authentic management that co-operates fairly and respectfully with employees, for a high degree of identification with the job and the company as a whole and a strong team spirit," said Frank Hauser, head of the Great Place to Work Institute Germany. In total, 580 companies of all sectors, sizes and regions applied for the award "Germany's Best Employers 2014". Hochland Deutschland GmbH participated for the third time at the prestigious nationwide competition and has every time reached a place within the ranking of the best 100 companies. The last time Hochland took part, there were only 235 participants, which is a significantly smaller number than in 2014. "We are very proud that we have once again achieved a place among the 100 best employers in Germany in a grown, highly demanding field of competitors," says the managing director of Hochland Deutschland GmbH, Josef Stitzl. "This award has great significance for us in the competition for the best employees." Also in the regional competition "Best Employers in the Allgäu," which took place the first time in 2013, Hochland Deutschland GmbH had successfully cut off: It achieved the third place among companies with more than 250 employees. Germany's Best Employers 2014 are automatically qualified for the European-wide overall competition with participants from around 20 countries. Human resources manager Thomas Schlachter and plant manager Walter Morent (Heimenkirch) received the award in Berlin.
