Almenna has been involved in some of the largest projects undertaken in Iceland. Acting alone, or as a member of domestic and/or international JV groups, Almenna has provided planning, project management, engineering design and supervision services, as well as conducted geological studies and environmental impact assessments. Examples of such projects include: Government Buildings, Industrial Plants, Sewage Treatment Plants and Water Supply Systems, Hydroelectric Power Plants, Roads and Bridges, Airports and Airfields, Harbours JV partners have come from all over the world, including Scandinavia, Britain, Continental Europe, United States and Canada. Almenna has valuable experience in collaborating with foreign companies and providing services in accordance with international standards and construction practices. To date, total staff number approximately 70. Many have been educated in Scandinavia, Britain, Germany and the United States, and therefore possess both local and international technical knowledge and experience.
