Allton specialises in marine electromagnetic data acquisition (CSEM) for frontier exploration, nearfield exploration and reservoir management for the oil and gas industry along with support of the energy transition through CO₂ monitoring and marine minerals exploration services. We provide proprietary contract and multi-client services to companies worldwide. Our technology is anchored by an in-house developed proprietary EM software suite that helps deliver CSEM projects through feasibility analysis, modeling, survey design, acquisition & processing QC, inversion, and interpretation. These CSEM planning and analysis tools are coupled with the development of state-of-the-art source and receiver systems for safe and efficient collection of CSEM data. EM measured fields are sensitive to the changes in electrical resistivity resulting from saturation changes in gas reservoirs or stored CO₂, creating an ideal measurement to be included in integrated monitoring systems for CCS or oil & gas reservoirs. Allton has also developed bespoke technology for marine minerals exploration or other near surface applications. Allton is headquartered in Stavanger, Norway with secondary offices in Oslo and Houston as well as regional offices around the world.
