Jotun is one of the leading paint manufacturers in the world. With a wide range of products within interior decoration and exterior protection, the Jotun logo can be found in more than 100 countries.
The company was founded in Sandefjord, Norway in 1926. The fonder Odd Gleditsch Sr. had witnessed whaling boats rusting away in the Antarctic. He quickly discovered the penguins; these caring creatures that overcame the toughest weather conditions. The penguin soon became Jotun’s official symbol and ambassador of the company’s values: Loyalty, Care, Respect, and Boldness.
Almost a century later, our mission remains the same: “Jotun Protects Property”. Jotun has grown into a multi-national company widely renown for high-quality paints and coatings. The Jotun Group consists of 68 companies and 40 production facilities across the world, and the more than 10,933 employees are united by a strong company culture, The Penguin Spirit.

Here at Farrow & Ball, we're dedicated to creating a range of richly pigmented paints and handcrafted wallpapers, using only the highest-quality ingredients.
Still rooted in Dorset, England, our palette is available in a full range of high-performance interior and exterior finishes. Deepening from subtle neutrals to dark inky hues, our paint is blended with up to five pigments for an extraordinary depth of colour.
It’s also here that we craft each roll of our wallpaper with Farrow & Ball paint and responsibly sourced paper. Our traditional printing methods give an exquisitely tactile, almost three-dimensional finish as you seamlessly combine paint and paper in the same space.
It began in 1946 with local pioneers John Farrow and Richard Ball. Our founders were groundbreaking in their pursuit of only the finest quality ingredients. From then on, our laboratory forged cutting-edge methods for testing the exceptional colour and performance of our paint finishes.
Today the unique Farrow & Ball look transforms modern and traditional homes, large and small, inside and out, around the world. Even with more than 60 showrooms worldwide and a global network of stockists, we’ve never forgotten our local Dorset roots.
Born in Ballarat in 1935, Haymes Paint is the outcome of Henry Haymes’ passion to provide quality and innovative paint and coating products to all Australians. Over the years, each family member has taken care to hand on the commitment and passion for crafting quality products. After all, it is our name and reputation on the can.
But that doesn’t mean that we have been resting on our laurels. We're driven to bring new and innovative products to market, ensuring our customers always have the best.
We live and breathe our values of individuality, independence and integrity. It's why you can be sure we'll never treat you like a number and never take shortcuts with the quality of our products or our service. We remain committed to supporting other family-owned businesses whether that be the local Paint Specialists and Hardware stores that stock our paint or the professional trade painting contractors who use Haymes Paint every day.
Today our family run business is led by the third generation of Haymes. We are still Australian Made and Owned and based in Ballarat, where it all began.
