Allison Audio Information

Allison Audio was established in 1983 by Dave Allison after 3 years as service manager of Serex, a public company that ran 4 different electronic organizations including Audio, Automotive audio, Solar Power and AV accessories. He realized that through his background of being trained firstly in depth sounders, 2 way radio, Sonar systems and then car audio and Hi Fi that he would specialize in firstly automotive and recently depth locators and underground systems. How the times evolve! The brands that required specialized audio service soon came running, They included Panasonic, Sony, Pioneer, Clarion and Sansui as well as many less known esoteric companies that needed expert audio knowledge. Moving form Collaroy to Brookvale in 1989 gave room for expansion and in 1997 Allison Audio purchased it's current address and set up a purpose built centre. Due to demand, Allison Audio moved towards Car Audio in 1990 with it's association with Panasonic OEM and aftermarket electronics and also the growth in repairs provided by Pioneer, Sony and Clarion. Allison Audio also decided to trade under the name of Allison Electronic Services to avoid confusion while servicing a greater range on products that now include TV, Plasma, LCD, brown goods and many white goods.
