We are a “concept to completion” firm focused on building relationships with clients to bring visions to life. With a foundation in evidence-based design, we have helped transform millions of square feet into elevated healing spaces. Art Expressions was born of a true passion for creativity and design by owner, Christine Sachs. Joined by a team committed to patient experience, we are constantly seeking to push the limits of what could be. Partnering with some of the most renown architects, artists and design firms has helped us be an industry leader in harnessing creativity- resulting in designs that improve health outcomes.

Presenting contemporary art in craft materials by international, national and regional artists since 1971, Contemporary Craft offers innovative exhibitions focused on multicultural diversity and contemporary art, as well as a range of artist-led, hands-on workshops, community outreach programs and a store featuring handcrafted art objects by artists from across the United States. Contemporary Craft is a not-for-profit organization based in Pittsburgh, PA with a free admissions policy. In 2019, Contemporary Craft is excited to embark on a transformational move with the purchase of a property in Pittsburgh’s Upper Lawrenceville neighborhood and to transform it into a place of art, inspiration, and creativity. Contemporary Craft is now located at 5645 Butler Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15201.
