Alimdaad Information

Al-Imdaad Foundation is a South African humanitarian organisation, founded in 2003 and headquartered in Estcourt South Africa. We work through twelve country offices: South Africa (head office), the United Kingdom and Mauritius as fundraising offices, with implementation offices in Jordan, Kenya, the DRC, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Egypt, Indonesia, Chile and Turkey. We do not sub-grant. Our own teams deliver the projects we fund, so we report on them directly: what was delivered, where, to whom and at what cost. In South Africa this includes daily hospital feeding (Slice 4 Life), school breakfasts (Make Breakfast Possible), weekly hot meals and cataract surgery (Vision 4 Life), along with disaster response alongside provincial and municipal government. Internationally we run water infrastructure, orphan sponsorship, education and emergency relief. Our rapid response teams aim to begin work within 24 to 96 hours of a major disaster.
