Alignment Collaborative for Education Information

Alignment Collaborative for Education (Alignment) is a collective impact organization made up of people from all sectors of our communities with a mission to align local resources to support the student career preparation goals and priorities of School Districts U-46, 300, 301, and 303. Alignment works in partnership with the four school districts to prepare the region's future workforce in partnership with over 200 business and community partner organizations. Serving over 15,000 students in 2025 and 2026, Alignment supports the educational pathways and career exploration work for 11 high schools. This work begins with career exploration in the middle schools progressing to paid internship opportunities as students prepare for their senior year of high school. This work encompasses over 12 industry clusters to include but not limited to automotive, business, culinary, education, engineering, finance, heavy equipment maintenance, healthcare, IT, manufacturing, marketing and public safety. For 2026, more than 300 students were placed in paid summer work opportunities. Over 17,500 volunteer hours were invested by Alignment's partner organizations for the school year ending May 2026 representing a return on investment to the communities, families, and students exceeding $1.2 million.
