Alianza Coffee Information

AlianzaCoffee is the result and represents a family tradition for over 70 years given to coffee growing in northern Nicaragua, where land and climate offer the environment provided for coffee of excellent quality. AlianzaCoffe, a brand of Cafetalera Castellón S.A. Founded by John Castellón who has been involved in the production and processing of coffee as a member of a family of coffee farmers. In 1942, his grandfather, Jacinto López acquired property in northern Nicaragua, and decided to become a producer of coffee. He started with his wife Angelita, the hard work of planting and the establishment in the coffee farms, "La Viola" and "San Martn". They even had to transport their crops with animal traction, due to harsh road conditions. Cafetalera Castellón began selling coffee brands coffee Fortuna and Treasury in 2001 in an independent coffee kiosk at the International Airport of Managua, Nicaragua. That same year introduced Del Cafetal brand. Addressed to the domestic market and being the first company in the country to produce and market flavored coffee. In 2005, Cafetalera Castellón launched the brand Coffee Nica's Gourmet Coffee, inspired by the splendid nature of our country, which provides the best conditions for producing the best coffee in order to meet demand by the experience. In 2011, Cafetalera Castellón, is proud to present Alianza Coffee brand, a brand that represents tradition, effort, dreams, Cafetalera Castellón commitment to producers and consumers and hence the name AlianzaCoffee.
