Implementing access o quality nourishment, for underprivileged within the community. Have you ever found yourself in the situation in life where you put your pride to the side  and go to a food bank? You show up hoping know one there will recognize you. You are thankful that this service is available for you to use, but never thought you would find yourself on this side of it. You are thankful for the food, except one thing. It's lots of leftover food, close dated & damaged products. Your going to use it, and you are thankful for it, but part of you feels diminished.  Why have we come to the point where those in need are being treated as second rate citizens? Why have we as a community turned a blind eye to it? Well, it's time to fix that. At Alfred's Groceries, we are striving to fix that problem. Partnering with local grocery stores, we take the funds we raise and purchase at wholesale full cases of the products the local food banks need.  Alfred's will help develop healthy and hearty food options, based on the seasons outside that will give those within the community the real help they will need during a rough patch in their life.
