Founded in 1968 with the establishment of an electric motor factory by Ali Metin Kazancı, Aksa Power Generation accelerated its journey in the energy sector by producing its first generator in 1984. Within a short period, the company specialized in developing the machinery and equipment required for electricity production and continuity, and today it stands among the world’s leading generator manufacturers. With the restructuring carried out under Kazancı Holding in 1994, Aksa Power Generation further strengthened its corporate and global structure, reaching its current scale. Aksa Power Generation manufactures diesel, gasoline, and natural gas generators ranging from 1 kVA to 3,750 kVA, marine auxiliary generators, lighting towers, and complementary equipment through its production facilities in Türkiye, China, Spain, and South Africa; its commercial centers in the United States, the Netherlands, and the United Arab Emirates; and its widespread global sales network. Providing products and services to more than 180 countries, Aksa Power Generation continues to expand its global footprint with 21 offices, 4 production facilities, and 3 commercial centers across Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas.

Akçansa was established with the merger of Akçimento (established in 1967) and Çanakkale Çimento (established in 1974) in 1996. Active in the Marmara, Aegean and Black Sea Regions, Akçansa produces cement and clinker in its three factories located in İstanbul-Büyükçekmece, Çanakkale and Samsun-Ladik. The Company also has five cement terminals located at İstanbul-Ambarlı, İzmir-Aliağa, Yalova, Yarımca and Hopa. Following the merger between Akçansa and its subsidiary Betonsa in 1998, Akçansa started to provide service under the “Betonsa” brand. Through this merger the Company produces ready-mixed concrete in over 35 plants throughout the Marmara and Aegean regions. The Company merged with another subsidiary, Agregasa Aggregate, in 2002, and produces aggregate under the “Agregasa” brand in its 4 plants. Akçansa aims to have “the highest quality in production and service” in order to supply the demands of its domestic and international customers and to compete by creating differences that go beyond the price issues. As the leader of the Turkish cement industry, Akçansa supplies 10% of our country’s cement demand and 12,5% of the country’s total cement and clinker exports.
