Alexanderwerk, Inc. is an international supplier of roller compaction, granulation and size reduction equipment for the Pharmaceutical, Food and Chemical industries. The primary company focus is on roller compaction and its role in increasing the bulk density of products to provide better flow and handling properties. The complete product line includes equipment for roller compaction, size reduction, extrusion, moist granulation and grating-shredding of a wide variety of solid, dry or moist materials. Alexanderwerk maintains a comprehensive test laboratory for conducting product and equipment trials. A new Roller Compactor has been added to the range of equipment available for customer product trials. The Alexanderwerk testing lab is located in the company’s Montgomeryville, PA, and in addition to roller compaction equipment includes size reduction systems, granulators and shredders, a pelletizer, a pneumatic conveying system and the company’s Modular Processing System which incorporates mixing, size reduction, pelletizing and extrusion capabilities in a single unit. Product testing and production trials are offered free for evaluation quantities and on a day rate basis for production scale quantities. Machine rentals, spare parts and comprehensive technical support are also offered. Additional company services include IQ/OQ documentation and execution, Feasibility Studies, Calibration Programs, Preventative Maintenance Programs, Block-Time Usage Rates and special Spare Parts Packages. Technical support is also always available for both electrical and mechanical issues that may arise.
